Processing Times
Processing Times
Most Eye Popping Art products are custom made after you place your order. That means your canvas print, metal print, acrylic print, framed photo print, custom pillow, blanket, drinkware, coaster set, cutting board, placemat, peel-and-stick print, or ready-made wall art is produced specifically for you.
Our average production time is typically 3–5 business days before shipping. Shipping time is separate from production time and begins after your order has been printed, inspected, packaged, and handed to the carrier.
Quick Summary
Typical production: 3–5 business days for most custom products.
Shipping after production: Standard ground shipping is typically 1–5 business days after production, depending on destination, carrier, holidays, and weather.
Custom cut metal prints, bulk orders, complex orders, or high-volume seasons may take longer. If you need an order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering.

How Processing Works
What does processing time mean?
Processing time is the time it takes to prepare, print, inspect, finish, and package your order before it ships. It does not include carrier transit time after the package leaves production.
When does processing time start?
Processing time usually starts after your order is placed, payment is approved, and the submitted file or design is ready for production. If we need additional information from you, processing may not begin until the issue is resolved.
What happens during processing?
During processing, your order may go through file review, print preparation, production, drying or finishing time, quality inspection, packaging, and shipping label creation. Custom products are made specifically for each order, so timing can vary by product type and order complexity.
Are business days different from calendar days?
Yes. Business days generally mean Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or major holidays. For example, an order placed late Friday may begin processing the next business day.
Estimated Production Times by Product Type
The times below are estimates for normal production conditions. They are not guaranteed delivery dates. Large orders, custom cut items, image issues, product availability, carrier delays, holidays, and high-volume seasons may affect timing.
| Product Type | Typical Production Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Canvas Prints | Usually 3–5 business days | Includes rolled canvas, stretched canvas, and canvas float frame options. Framed and larger sizes may require extra finishing time. |
| Metal Prints | Usually 3–5 business days | Standard sizes are typically processed within the normal window. Custom cut metal prints may take longer and may have separate shipping charges. |
| Acrylic Prints | Usually 3–5 business days | Acrylic prints may require extra handling, mounting, and inspection because of the glossy surface and finished presentation. |
| Framed & Unframed Photo Prints | Usually 3–5 business days | Framed options, faux mat options, and specialty paper choices may require additional finishing time. |
| Hanging Canvas Prints | Usually 3–5 business days | Includes printing, inspection, and hanging rail preparation. |
| Peel & Stick Prints / Wallpaper | Usually 3–5 business days | Production time may vary by size, material, and order quantity. |
| Custom Pillows | Usually 3–5 business days | Double-sided pillows, different front/back images, and larger sizes may require extra setup and inspection. |
| Custom Photo Blankets | Usually 3–5 business days | Production may vary by blanket style, size, and order volume. |
| Custom Drinkware | Usually 3–5 business days | Includes drinkware such as tumblers, bottles, and flasks. Wrap designs may require careful layout review. |
| Custom Coasters | Usually 3–5 business days | Coaster sets with multiple images may require additional review before production. |
| Custom Glass Cutting Boards | Usually 3–5 business days | Glass products require careful handling, print inspection, and secure packaging. |
| Personalized Linen Placemats | Usually 3–5 business days | Production may vary by quantity, image quality, and order size. |
| Ready-Made Wall Art Collections | Usually 3–5 business days | Ready-made designs are still printed specifically for your order, so they require normal production time before shipping. |
Custom Product Processing
Why do custom products take time to process?
Each custom order is printed specifically for you. Your file, selected size, material, finish, frame, mount, fabric, or product option must be prepared and produced as a custom item. This is different from pulling a finished item off a shelf.
Are ready-made art products processed faster?
Ready-made artwork does not require you to upload a custom photo, but it is still printed on demand in the material and size you select. Because of that, ready-made wall art usually follows the same production window as other custom printed products.
Can processing take longer than expected?
Yes. Processing may take longer during holidays, sales, severe weather, carrier disruptions, material delays, high order volume, or when an uploaded image needs additional review.
Image Review & File Quality
Can image quality affect processing time?
Yes. Low-resolution images, blurry photos, screenshots, cropped social media downloads, or files with important details too close to the edge may require extra review. If we need to contact you about an image issue, processing may pause until we hear back from you.
How can I avoid file-related delays?
Upload the highest-quality original image available. Avoid screenshots and heavily compressed social media images. Review your crop and preview carefully before ordering, especially for faces, text, logos, dates, and important details.
Do you review every image before printing?
We strive to review submitted files and custom designs for obvious production concerns, but customers are responsible for submitting a clear image, checking spelling, confirming the crop, and reviewing all order details before checkout.
Shipping After Production
Is production time the same as shipping time?
No. Production time is the time needed to create your order. Shipping time starts after the order is finished, packaged, and handed to the carrier.
How long does ground shipping take after production?
Standard ground shipping is typically 1–5 business days after production, depending on the shipping destination and carrier conditions. Holidays, severe weather, and carrier delays can extend delivery time.
Will I receive tracking?
Yes. Once your order ships, you should receive tracking information by email so you can follow the shipment.
Where can I read the shipping policy?
You can review shipping regions, shipping times, free shipping details, tracking, lost or damaged packages, and customs information on our Shipping Policy page.
Rush Orders & Deadlines
Can I rush my order?
Rush availability depends on the product, order size, production schedule, and shipping destination. If you need an order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering so we can help you determine whether the timeline is realistic.
Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date?
We do our best to process and ship orders quickly, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates unless a specific written arrangement has been made before ordering. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and production issues can affect arrival time.
Should I order early for gifts or events?
Yes. For holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, business gifts, events, or time-sensitive orders, we recommend ordering as early as possible. Custom printing, finishing, packaging, and shipping all take time.
Possible Processing Delays
What can delay my order?
Processing may be delayed by low-quality files, missing information, payment issues, incorrect shipping details, large or complex orders, custom cut items, material availability, production volume, holidays, severe weather, or carrier delays after shipment.
What happens if there is a problem with my file?
If we notice an issue that may affect production, we may contact you for clarification or a better file. Please monitor your email after ordering so you do not miss important order updates.
What if my package is delayed after it ships?
Once an order is handed to the carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier. Use the tracking link to monitor shipment progress. If your package appears lost or damaged, please contact us with your order number and tracking information.
Processing Time FAQ
How long does it take to receive my order?
Most orders take about 3–5 business days to produce, plus shipping time after production. Standard ground shipping is typically 1–5 business days after the order ships.
Does the day I order count as a production day?
Not always. Orders placed later in the day, over a weekend, or near a holiday may begin processing on the next business day.
Do weekends count as processing days?
Processing times are based on business days and generally do not include weekends or major holidays.
Are large orders processed slower?
Large orders, bulk orders, multiple-product orders, and complex custom orders may take longer than the standard production estimate.
Are custom cut metal prints different?
Yes. Custom cut metal prints may require additional production and shipping handling. A shipping fee for custom cut metal prints may be added at checkout, while standard sizes are applicable toward free shipping.
Can I change my order during processing?
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Because custom orders can move into production quickly, changes may not be possible once production has started.
Where can I read your refund policy?
You can review custom order returns, cancellations, damaged orders, production defects, and replacement details on our Refund Policy page.
